Firm History
Miller Law Group was founded in 1998 by Senior Partner Joseph W. Anthony, with a vision to create a law firm that combines legal excellence with genuine client care. Starting with just three attorneys, the firm quickly built a reputation for winning complex litigation cases. By 2005, we had expanded to a full-service firm with practices in corporate law, criminal defense, family law, and real estate. Today, we are proud to have a team of over 20 experienced attorneys serving clients across the country, with a track record of thousands of successful cases.

Founder & Managing Partner
Joseph W. Anthony is a prominent, award-winning American business litigation and trial attorney based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is best known as the co-founder of Anthony Ostlund Louwagie Dressen & Boylan P.A., a premier trial boutique law firm established in 1985. Over his career spanning more than 50 years, Anthony has built a national reputation for handling high-profile corporate disputes: Record Verdict: In 2007, he secured a $130 million jury verdict for a professional dental association in an unfair competition case, marking the largest jury verdict in Minnesota business litigation history. Trial Depth: He has tried more than 100 jury trials, court trials, and arbitrations to verdict across the United States.
